15 minutes on public land and
Deer moving.
 Got up here a little late to shower and get ready so I grabbed orange and shotgun. Walked across from camp onto LBJ and within 15 minutes had a doe walk within twenty yds with a buck following. She spotted me but he didn’t. Oh well, don’t think he was a shooter anyway.

Didn’t see anything after the first encounter. But it was still out of the city...
Sitting in my blind this morning and will probably get in a ladder stand this evening for moving bucks. |
