Scratch Klein’s then, I know during deer season it’s a pretty much a assembly line
probably not that bad during the summer

I think he might be referring to Kimble Processing, family run & a good processor.

If you bring your axis meat deboned to Klein's and do not add any beef fat/pork, you can get it processed, ground, and packaged for about a $1 a pound. It is a great deal.

Please send me a PM about this. I know the owners and this is not their business model, nor what I have experienced myself.

I use Rhode's Taxidermy in Ingram/Kerrville. They do all of my processing and taxidermy work. Top notch service.

kimble processing is outstanding. the cleanest processor i have ever used.
packaging is on point and they are easy to work with.

I wouldn’t take anything to Klein’s in boerne. I’ve had several bad experiences

This is the place Iused way back when...

But looks like it sold in 2016. If the new folks are like the old folks, it is a great place.

Would you mind to elaborate please? Also curious if your bad experiences were during deer season when they are super busy or in the off season.
