Had this 8pt come in last Monday evening. Got to watch him for about 30 minutes. I want to say 3 years old, but not sure if he ain’t but 2. Already has good mass on main beams.

That’s just it. I had him at 10 yards and he has no neck. Pencil neck. Also, his body language told me 2, but maybe 3. No way he’s 5. Saw a mature buck just 2 weeks ago and the body on that dude would put this one’s to shame. If he makes it though, he’s gonna be a stud.
My target buck if still alive hasn’t shown up yet on any cameras. Saw him once last year, just didn’t have a clear shot and his body is twice as big as this one too. He don’t have near the rack but he’s huge body wise.Comment

I just don’t see any age on him. Been going back and looking at the video footage I have. He has no sagging skin to be real old. He might be 3 1/2 and just hasn’t filled out yet. I passed on a 9 pt last year that I’m pretty sure that was around the 3 or 4 yr old mark that was filled out way more than this one. Just hoping my target 6pt shows up.

This is the one I’m after. Was a 6pt last year, 7 pt the year before. I think he is on the downhill side.
