My wife’s aunt died this summer and her uncle barely made it. He’s one sad dude now. We aren’t risking our moms to it. I have an aunt, cousin and her family down with it. They wouldn’t make it anyway.
I’m leaving that evening and hunting Friday through Sunday.

I’m on a 14 day quarantine so my wife and kids will be having thanksgiving at home per the request of my in-laws. No complaints here.

Will probably do some coughing and sneezing and maybe we can cut loose way early.

Can you talk that sense into my wife? She's been listening to NPR and the Karens in her office too much. We were supposed to leave to visit family tomorrow but instead canceled today. Pretty ****** and heartbroken.

Thought about it. Mom is diabetic, dad is 73 with bad lungs, heart, high blood pressure, grandma is 80, and we have been protecting our son this whole time. We considered canceling but decided not to.

My wife just got over it. I've been around so many people with it and can't seem to catch it. I've been tested a bunch. We are done with not living life because of this crap. We are going and doing. If someone is scared they can stay home and isolate and that's fine but we aren't going to live that way.

I have a family member that has messed up the Holiday Season as we have always had the same group for years. This year it will be smaller but we are still celebrating friends and family. Kid is home from college and there were a bunch of kids at the house last night. My parents are 80 plus. Both live life for today and enjoy today so they have changed very little. Problem with them is they enjoy the casino in LA and it is basically closed so I know they are missing that. I’m done with this Government overreach 6 months ago. Happy Thanksgiving however you choose to spend it
