Big Red ice cream

I know this recipe has been posted before but I'm posting it again by itself. I made it for the first time this weekend and it was a major hit. I loved it. I added a little twist to it with the fruit. Definitely on the "to make again" list.

1 2 liter Big Red
1 can Eagle Brand
1 can evaporated milk
sliced or frozen strawberries - however much you want in there

Pour into ice cream maker and let 'er rip. Pure greatness.

I've heard this works with any kind of soft drink. I'm thinking maybe Dr Pepper and cherries would be great too. Or Dr Pepper and lemons.

edit: When I was looking up the recipe my wife was looking over my shoulder. She said "what are you doing on your bowhunting site looking for a recipe?" I said "this is the best recipe site on the internet!"

We make it every year for the 4th of July, and it seems like it gets better every year.

You have to use the fruit though.

It's like the icing on the cake!!!!
