They delivered to me Saturday and Sunday. Seems like every day I get bills. The last 2 days all I received was a hunting catalog Saturday and junk flyer Sunday. I’ll take more of the snow if it keeps bills away!

Lol, I don't know of a single critical document I get through the mail. I also don't use them for shipping anything of value.

![]() Same....Tuesday through Friday was a no go here. But hell I don't blame them. Those ragged out jeeps probably aren't real good in the ice we had. Add in people parking in the street and the liability possibility is probably not worth it. |

Someone at the post office posted on FB for the city that they didn’t get any mail in for a few days. When they did get one in, it was mostly packages and they delivered them.
Been waiting on a package shipped from Amazon thru UPS that has said out for delivery since the 12th. |

I bought an APR from a member here that was shipped to my FFL via USPS on 2/12. Tracking info hasn't updated since 2/17, starting to get worried.

The lady that delivers ours won't get out of her vehicle to walk 10ft in good weather. We live on a cauldesac and if 1 car is parked out there, she won't deliver.

My fiancé is a Rural carrier , She drives/supply's and Maintains her own vehicle . Its not 4x4 so she cant deliver when the roads are covered in Ice an Snow during a Blizzard an she is Not gonna wreck her truck trying to do her Rout on roads That are Not Plowed or Maintained. That being said , No mail trucks / Big Rigs have brought any Mail for the carriers to Deliver since last Monday so she cant deliver what they don't have . But I do Agree that the USPS is Not Managed like it should be !

LMAO....I thought no one actually went to the mailbox anymore.....we don't get anything in our mail box except sales flyers and miscellaneous non-sense. All utility bills and anything important is auto debited directly with the various companies. But oddly enough our guy is pretty dang cool. Super friendly and been around most days.

You can tell their quasi government status by how inept they are. If you 100% need something delivered you will always go with UPS, FedEX, etc.
Anything that the feds touch will be inefficient & a pain in the arse. |

Yup and they stuff any small package they can in it if it means they don't have to get out. The wife got several soft sided textbooks sent to her for teaching remotely and they bent the living crap out of it. Wife is OCD about her teaching materials. Needless to say the little strawberry blonde was out on the front porch waiting for them the next day after the last one to give them the what for. Now all soft packages with something that looks like a book are walked to the door. Everything else is crammed in the box if it will fit. |

I live in the city and these cats took the full week off. We saw them Saturday before the storm and they didn't show back up until Saturday. I had a package going to another TBHer scheduled for pickup each day of the week and they finally grabbed it on Saturday.

I think most of the trouble was with getting the mail to the city of delivery not the local delivery. You got to remember several of the highways in Texas were not drivable.

The hag that delivers my mail won't hand it to me when I'm standing next to the box, saying she has to put it in the box. Well, a couple of days ago, she drives past the box to where I was standing by my truck to hand me the mail, which included two boxes that she'd have to hand deliver to the door. Go figure.

The USPS is a microcosm of our country. They just half ***** everything. Better than Fed Ex and UPS though. They are proud if they just get close.

In case you haven't noticed, everything the government has taken over from the private sector is much more inefficient. Mail delivery is no different. I haven't seen a mail man in over a week at our place. I tried to go to the local post office to mail some ebay crap and it was closed on Friday with a sign on the door saying that the electricity was out. Good thing those lights were on so I could read that sign. There is another post office fairly close by with one of those walk-up kiosks to mail your packages. I went there and even though it had power, the thing was out of order. USPS is no bueno!

Don't get me started. The USPS has fouled up so many deliveries from Amazon. If it has any size at all, they don't deliver and my bet is they don't even attempt it. I get a text from Amazon stating that attempted delivery and I needed to contact the carrier. They make me go to the post office. And when I do, they say it isn't there. Finally had one lady try to find my package and guess what, she found it. Plus they are generally just mean and foul about it. I am sure there are some folks that actually care and are trying to get the packages to folks, but mine is not one of those.

I ordered some arrow shafts that were shipped from Utah on 2/4. On 2/8 they show to have been in the Metro NY dist. center for some completely unexplainable reason. Left there on 2/9. No further tracking except a message on 2/13 saying your package is "in transit" and "will arrive late." Ya think? Our mail carrier missed a few days of delivery during the snow. That I can understand. Sending my package on a tour of the entire US, I can't.

I have a UPS package that was shipped on February 11 and was supposed to be delivered on the 15th and it had not changed status since then. It just says “In Transit” with no estimated arrival date or anything. I know we’ve had bad weather but an update would be nice.

We are blessed with our mail service. The lady at home is awesome, she’ll drive in and come up to the house if we have a package that won’t easily fit in the mailbox. Her daughter took her engagement photos here at the farm, just great people
The guy at the office showed up Thursday and knocked on the door to see if I had a pickup ready. I was kind of surprised to see him, and had to laugh when he said “if I were y’all, I would wait a few days before shipping. Otherwise who knows where y’all’s stuff will end up” ![]() ![]() Now the fill-ins who cover their route on their days off? Yeah, those folks are literally worthless |

I agree some mail carriers can be lazy ! Just like any company has their select few screw up employees! But on their defense the USPS cant deliver items aka packages, mail etc if they don’t receive it theirselves. Here in the DFW area many businesses were shut down . Amazin , fedex , ups due to weather . Many had no electricity due to outages . Electricity is key factor to running conveyor belts and providing light to see to case the mail. Next is fuel many gas stations were closed and if not out of fuel . Fuel thats needed to run their mail trucks . With fed ex Amazon and ups closed as well due to the same problems . Its hard for them to deliver anything or much at all if they don’t receive it. Airlines shut down or severe delays due to the weather as well. Trains delayed or shut down due to weather as well. They all take fuel as well which was scarce . But i get how many can be ****** . I agree like any company theirs bad apples lazy employees. But also you have to sit back and look at the bigger picture why mail didnt run in this one week

I had a a set of Talley rings that Amazon said was lost in the mail. Last seen in DFW on the 13th... I assumed they were scattered along the interstate in the pile up.
They refunded me my $100 and I got the rings yesterday lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
