1.5 yearling. Common for these first timers to have deformed antlers. I wouldn't base this year on his potential.

Behind schedule but doesn’t mean he doesn’t have great potential. Would be hard to shoot one that young. Unless it was a doe. Hard to beat that tender meat!! Lol

Your situation is a little different than most but I'm with you on the age/ development. He' s not a first year nubbin I don't believe.

A late fawn from last year, making him 1.5. I have one exactly like that. I normally don’t shoot any 1.5’s including spikes, but I may have to rethink my strategy with this one.
