Anyone know how long it takes before you can start to tell how many drakes/hens you got?

How long before they get to play in the bath tub? haha

With the previous mallard we raised it was about 7-8 weeks. That was a hen but I do know that the drakes don't really get their color until closer to the fall....but there are some other clues that can give their sex away before they get color.

The hen we raised was doing full blown greeting calls before she could fly.
