Here's the one I've got started on. My parents bought it back in the 60's.

No fuel cap there for my lantern. Already checked.

Used some brass cleaner and Tarn X to make it look a lot better.

Are old Coleman Stoves worth anything? I have a NIB, but box in bad shape 1964 Coleman stove.

Depends on the item. Is the stove a 2 or 3 burner? NIB with the old box might be something to a collector completing his/her collection would buy. Get the model number and do a little research.

                        Clean lantern

All cleaned up. I still have to get the high heat paint to paint the lid. It has some rust spot on the top and on the inside.

I have no idea if the lantern will work until I get the fuel cap to thread correctly.

Wish this old lantern could talk. 73 years is a lot of history.

I will start working on the stove next week. I need to get the paint and sandpaper.

our transformer blew at the house a couple weeks ago and I had to pull out my survival kit and cook dinner in the garage. I hadnt used this latern in proabably ten years, took a little coaxing but she lit up well. Wonder what year these were made ?

Date is on the bottom. should be three numbers on the bottom. Nice looking lantern.

Be sure to oil the pump. Arrowsmith told to let them run for about 30 minutes to burn off the old gummed up stuff.
