A few buddies have let me know that they might have the back door method for New Mexico figured out.

Login to your New Mexico account, go to my purchases, go down to your hunt code you applied for and hit review. If there is a carcass tag status they are saying you drew the tag.

If that’s the truth, my gf drew deer and antelope. And I struck out on deer and antelope. Not sure if the method is right or not, but seems like it could be true

Hopefully it’s right, id love to go hunt with my gf to fill her tags. I’ve got a Montana elk hunt hopefully this year so I don’t need too much else to be happy with the year

In all honesty I’m just going off what a bunch of my buddies from New Mexico are going off of. They put in for a bunch of different species and are getting the carcass tag drop down for the ones they should have drawn.

You can still delete your application and nothing will happen until at least April 7 because that's the final harvest report deadline.

Says I drew elk, aoudad, and sheep. Elk and aoudad were decent odds, so I could believe it. Said I didn't draw a deer tag with good odds, but not guaranteed. Sheep on the other hand, is what has me quite skeptical.
