    Deadhorse caribou outfitters

has anyone used deadhorse outfitters? They drop you off in Alaska for caribou hunt. They are supposed to be DIY hunts. just curious if anyone has hunted with them? Do they drop you near the migration?

I've researched them a little but haven't used them.

I’m certain that when you fly to the drop camp that you will see a ton of caribou from the air. Law states that you cannot hunt them for 24 hours after landing. When we went (DIY) Haul road, we just drove until we started to see them. The bush planes that taxied the hunters back and forth always had horns hanging off of them. It’s an awesome hunt

Uncle and I, got a wild hair and did this trip, very good hunt !!! They just flew us till they found the herds and landed on a lake. Next day we hiked 3-5 miles to a high spot to glass
Spotted two good bulls in a pack and went for them with success, turned out we killed them right next to camp, we killed two more never having to move farther than 500 yards
Check the recommendation on necessary equipment, we took equipment we didn’t need ( rubber hip boots) and I would have packed better food

                At least an idea?
