Got drawn for a Montana bull elk tag! I got one two years ago so I was shocked to get drawn again so soon. The place Im hunting is loaded with mule deer and antelope also. Maybe a trifecta?

Thanks! I doubt a live hunt will be possible but I'll probably go into town to have dinner a couple times with the owner of the property Im hunting. I should have service there to provide updates. If there's signal where Im hunting I'll keep it as live as possible.

Kinda what Im thinking! I was looking to tag along with a friend on a moose hunt in New Foundland this fall but with them still being squirrelly about covid and all I decided last minute to go ahead and put in for the Montana elk again. I figured worst case I would get to hunt a spike elk if the moose hunt fell through. Never did I think I would actually draw a bull tag again.
