Burn looks good, Jay! We were close to having one ourselves this week but we were spared fortunately. I wasn’t ready!

Wow, of course my burn plan is centered around my management plan, but it also doubles as an insurance policy against having my whole place burn from random fires Glad you dodged the bullet

Finally made it back out to my place to check fill the protein feeder and put out some new stump rocks! Pleased to see how the burn area is bouncing back! Should be just about right when the fawns start hitting the ground

Just got finished with a brand new 300 ft water well! She has been rated at 8-11 gallons a minute and should be more than adequate to supply the new cabin that is coming shortly

I traded in the bailing wire for a lag bolt to adhere the trophy rock to the stump, so there should be zero maintenance until it wears out! The crimson clover is coming up nicely and the deer seem to be doing a good job at keeping it in check We have been getting a ton of rain with another 4 inches falling last night! Most projects are on hold until we can dry out a little!

The time has come for some changes to my lodging situation Looking forward to having her dried in within the next 10 days or so! The dimensions are 24X30X16 which will provide around 1100 sq ft of living space! Looking forward seeing this addition take shape

Finally starting to take shape! As long as the weather will hold we should be able to get her dried in by the end of next week

Got her all dried in! Porches and skirting will be going on next following the plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and insulation! The porches will add some much needed contours to detract from its boxy shape! Big improvement over the old portable building

All views from the living area! On the base level there are two bedrooms, full bath with W&D, and under stair storage! The living area and kitchen are all open to the ceiling leaving room for plenty of mounts

The loft turned out better than expected! With the 16 ft sidewalls it allows for usable space all the way to the wall! Plenty of room for bunks, storage, and a second living room

I am going to need a window that is a little lower positioned in that upstairs loft area where I can shoot my bow out of it while sitting in a comfortable chair……..

Looking good sir!

Rwc,

That puts you shooting over the in-ground pool, hot tub, pergola with full fireplace, and outdoor entertainment space…..

I only need a small narrow opening.......... but now that you mention all the possible cover features........probably just pop up a ground blind over the hot tube and hunt while "relaxing".........Now to design a small bow hanger that attaches to the hot tube without scratching it....................

You Okie boys sure now how to live!
