    Welding Help

I am in the Southeast Texas area and I need someone who would be willing to help me fix my muffler from my John Deere Gator. It vibrated/rusted and disconnected from attachment point to engine. I need someone who can weld to try and re-attach, I can pay whatever you think is best.

Need a new one. It will be too thin for it to weld, and last.

Agree. Welding that is going to be a temporary fix

That’s a problem with mufflers especially on a Gator. I have repaired a few in that same area. You can beef it up a bit by welding a gusset on it to keep it rigid. Right at the flange it’s the hottest and takes a lot of abuse. The base tubing isn’t that thick to start with.

Weld it, sleeve it, brace it.
