    Rv parks New Mexico

any good ones yall recommend? We were supposed to go to roswell a few years ago on the way home from Colorado but ended up staying in CO longer so skipped our NM stay. My wife and kids want to go there this summer. Anything you recommend? Anything to avoid?

All we've discussed so far are
White sands, roswell, and alberquerque. We have all the time we need as I work from the camper if needed.

I would spend about half a day in Roswell doing the Alien thing and then head West. My favorite area is in or around Ruidoso (mountain town), especially in the summer. Not sure about RV parks, but they are around. Horse racing, Casino, fishing, hiking and golf. Billy The Kid stuff is cool in Lincoln as well. Cloudcroft, NM is a pretty place. Carlsbad caverns and the bats are worth a visit. White Sands for sure. New Mexican food!

Visit the cultural "arts" district in Santa Fe............
The Tram ride, in Alberquerque...... (lunch at the top)
The road thru the Sandia Mtns, out side of Albque.......(stunning)
And I wish, I had a dollar for all my visits to Carlsbad.........

My wife and kids loved this place. It is right outside Roswell.

The north Albuquerque KOA would be a good centrally located spot. Quick access to the Tramway. Plus your only forty five minutes to Santa Fe.
            Some places to visit.
Tent rocks, Bandolier, Santa Fe etc.
