    Aging Vintage Ammo

I found a few boxes of Winchester Western Super X Long Range 22 Long Rifle ammo. I know it's old but not sure how old. I'm going to just set these in my gun cabinet curio to look at.

Do any of you elderly gents have an idea on age for these?

I'm totally guessing, but I think they are from 1950s or 60s

That has to be 50's... They had a yellow box from the 60's until probably 1980... Those were some of the best shooting shells I ever shot out of my Weatherby Mark XXII! Deadly on tree rats, turtle heads, and a host of other things...

        60's
Early 60's. I remember buying them. Looks like originals are bringing in about $12 a box today.
The wax coating was a little sticky at the time.

Thanks guys. I think they're cool little artifacts from my grandpa's stuff. They'll be a nice add to my Dad's old gun cabinet.
