Got my son's 207" mount back

[Buck Roar]

My son was fortunate to shoot a buck of a lifetime this past fall. It made its rounds on all the social media which he enjoyed. He even got on the Lonestar Outdoor Podcast.

We got it officially scored at 207" gross, 197" net. (Nets are for fishing right?) We wanted to do something special with the mount. I thought it turned out pretty nice.

He shot it with Muzzleloader in OK.
Low fence. on 80ac property that his landlord let him hunt.
He is going to OSU. From his house that is right by the campus to where he shot it was less than 4 miles.

On the day he shot the buck, cows from the west got on the neighbor to the north's property. (Cell cams) They hustled out there to get the cows off/back to the west. Called the rancher to let them know there was an issue. The neighbor was in that blind that afternoon, could see the buck coming down the trail to him when the other farmer pulled up to check the fence. The buck saw the truck and diverted to my son, and he made the 100 yd shot count! Super proud of him and super glad for him. He is a hard hunter and fisherman! Prior to turning 21, counting this buck, he had killed 4 bucks over 150" and 3 droptine bucks. And I can't break 150" LOL
