What lockboxes/safes are everybody using in their daily drivers? Just wanting to get something to eliminate the smash and grab.
I drive an OBS Ford and there is a nice little slot under the middle front seat and plenty of seat frame for attaching. |

I have an underseat safe from Lockerdown, I know they make both console and underseat safes for a lot of vehicles but I’m not sure about an OBS. It’s solid though

![]() Basically anything that opens from the front, whether that be left or right side hinged, top or bottom, or that slides out would work. I ran across the "Hornady RAPiD safe night guard" last night and it may work. But in order for me to mount it to the seat frame I would have to do a little fab work and I hate to just go welding on a brand new $300 box. https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/horn...fe-night-guard |

General rule of thumb is to buy something not sold at the big box stores. All the cables are to small, can be cut very easily. Ask me how I know

This one wouldn’t fit?
https://www.sportsmansguide.com/prod...ault?a=2180116 The dimensions seem slim. |

Wouldn't laying it on its side make it a left/right hinged swinging front door?
