Cool snakes but very shy and elusive. OP just gave his general location, they have a pretty small range in TX.

Would it be near Eden? Saw one like that at the old deer lease.I just figured it was a flawed racer.

That's a good question. There's a good bit of inbreeding between the different Racers causing varied color phases.
