Looking for Central Texas Knife Maker for Some Help

I have a custom knife that I've used for years. Last season, I put a pretty good chip in the blade, and I'm looking to get it fixed. I don't have the equipment or know how, and I was hoping I could pay a knife maker in the CenTex area to grind/polish the blade and get it back in shape.

You can reply to this thread or shoot me a PM.

    Thanks!

Let me find him on facebook and I will tag you in it. It is Will Norvell, he is also a TBH member but I can't remember his handle.

Is it possible to send it back to the maker and let them repair it?
            Good luck getting it fixed.

First, what were you doing when it chipped? Second, I've never seen one chip like that, blade looks to be stainless, I would think the hardness is so high you'd be hard pressed to to file it, and it would take a long time with a grinder while trying to keep it cool.

That said, if it were mine, I'd give it a go, but I wouldn't risk messing up your knife. Good luck.

Will, I shot Norvell a text, thanks. I think he's pondering.

I also received another PM with a suggestion...many thanks.

Razorback, the chip was a result of me using my knife like a cleaver and attacking a deer leg bone like an idiot.
