I ate a couple bites of what was some partially raw ground lamb. My initial inclination is that it’s not a huge deal but I’ll know for sure in a couple days. Everybody around me though is freaking out.

What should I/would you do?

What should I/would you do?

This is a pretty big part of what gave me any pause. If you’re familiar with the way gyro meat is cooked, it’s a big pile of ground meat that sits on a rotisserie and rotates around a heat source on one side. So the innermost part (which is what I got) is basically slowly warming the whole time it’s “cooked”. When it never reaches that cooked temperature, I could see the potential for bacteria growth. Maybe I’m just a dumb arse. Or a “wuss”.
