Check to see if shells fit in the Mag tube. The one I bought today had a plug in it that I had to cut before it would take a shell.

Ditto on the crossbow. I was just going to get my wife her combo license and look at crossbows for her to try to join me for archery season. Does anyone know if they are worth buying?

It's a good introductory crossbow. I got one last year with this same deal. Never shot anything with it but a target and it shot just fine.
