Greasing Winch Up Feeders

    Randy, don't mean to pile on... I had one fall and crushed the feeder motor housing. The culprit... well me for not maintaining the pulley mechanism. The pin at the top pulley had basically quit spinning and just sheared off.

    Boss Buck folks sent me new upgraded pulleys for my feeders.

    At least once a year folks...spray white lithium grease into the pulley mechanisms.

      This has happened to me too.

      Spray grease the cable and all moving parts. Better safe than sorry. Plus it’ll run smoother.
