2019 Crappie thread!!
I've sunk willow piles and caught a limit off them a day later before but willow doesn't last long. If it's a good spot you will have to rebrush it every year. I like cedars. Won't waste my time with Christmas trees. By the time Christmas is over they're usually so dry it takes too much weight to sink em. A 8' Christmas tree will take 2 65lb blocks to sink. I can sink a 20' green cedar with one. Plus the limbs are too dense for fish to get in. If you sink Christmas trees I would cut some gaps in them. That's my .02$ anyhow.
Burgers done. Gonna polish off a piece of coconut cream pie and head to the office!

Had my buddy Shane and his boy Ethan on Fork this morning! Tough bite but we managed 20 keepers and Ethan caught his first 2 pound crappie! First time on a boat! First time crappie fishing. And first 2 pounder! That kid had a good day!!
