    $150 for WHAT!?

Ever had a problem of your boat trailer not fitting in the garage? They sell a kit that fits certain trailers, but not mine. So, I fixed it myself.

I would have just cut a hole for the motor in the back of the garage.

I don't think that weld is gonna bust anytime soon Danny. Well done.

Danny, Good post . Go to TSC or Nothern Tool and get ya a 1/2" T-hadle pull pin with a 4" or 4.5" shaft. Drill hole and drop in pin from top so it wont bounce out . (I used to do these all the time for Tracker Marine and individules)

        That will work.

Those itty-bitty holes have bolts through them that hold it together? I'd buy grade 8 bolts and nylon locking bolts, that would ruin a good day to see it moving away in the rear view mirror.

Those itty-bitty holes are 5/8" and I already have nylon nuts and grade 8 bolts for it. What, do you think I am a halfasser Bill?

Please post more of what the top pin would do.

Danny, You got a great start and what you've done will work fine . I didn't realize you had that large a bolt. The t-pin would act similar to your bolts, keep it from slinding out/off. Except I built them where it would drop in from the top and through the bottom. One T-pin is all that is needed. Basicly a "pull-pin" with a "T" handle. Usually cost a round 3.50.

BTW, I've got a small boat trailer you can hone your skills on, if ya wanna do another

Looks good. I had to do something similar to my hitch as well.
