I Hate It When

The buck on my avatar was taken a week ago Friday. On the way to the stand in the ranger, he had bedded down in some cedars right by the road about 600 yards from my set up. He busted out of the cedars, crossed the road and ran over the mountain. I thought there was no way I was going to see him. Shot him about 2 hours later.

That little section of fence is a half mile long. Zoom lenses will do that to a picture.
