I hunt near Wharton/Jackson county line, been having some pretty good deer for the area on my camera but this weekend they just didn't seem to be moving... I was wondering if anybody else was having the same results?!

We are right on the same border (Mustang Creek runs through our lease) Saturday morning was slow but they started moving late in the evening. One 10 point taken on Saturday morning, a nice 12 point on Saturday night & a couple of does. I had 1 deer in the morning & 6 deer under my feeder sat night -
I had the same thing just north of you guys in Hallettsville. Very slow in the morning then the piled in when the rain broke in eveing.
Glenn, how far are you from the old golf course? Way back in high school we saw a few good ones out there while practicing.Comment

I don't know where the old golf course is, our gate is 2 miles from the loop / railroad tracks on FM 647.Comment
