Spent quit a few days south of the river in Dec. and Jan. hunting an upper end management deer. The deer ended up winning but not for the lack of effort on our part.

I did lay eyes on him the first morning of my December hunt but he never checked up and or turned for me to slip an arrow in him.

Shared camp with some great people and witnessed some unreal deer. Can't wait for my next opportunity to cross the river and hunt in Mexico.
