    Never bitten by one, but definitely jumped sideways a couple times to avoid their deadly bites !

                    Stepped on the end of one while noodling in Spring Creek. The other end came out of the water in front of my face, I quit noodling.

                              Close second to a snake is a squiggly stick that looks like a snake. They are really bad in the dark.
