I think you forgot a link. Julios used to be top notch when it was only sold local. Dont much care for it these days. But if your buddy has something similar but better, I would like to try it.

Fixed it. Its better than the original Julios. Guaranteed. Its available in a few places around Burnet as he's just starting out. He used to have a restaraunt in Burnet until family got involved. Hes my dove hunting partner, full disclosure. But this is the only salsa Ill buy now. Ill see if he has online sales.

I was told that HEB got their official salsa recipe from buying La-La's salsa recipe in Mirando City. Don't know if it's true or not, but got that from two different, unrelated sources.

This blows all the above out of the water. Best store bought I’ve found. Texas made to.

Yup the Skelton family out of Katy,Tx. Good stuff. Little pricey becouse they pride thereselves in not using any preservatives so it has a short shelf life.

                            Just kidding.

Pace is my go to store brand. I don't do the shopping and it's what the old lady brings home.

I’ve been a fan of HEB’s medium salsa for years. Have recently discovered their branded tostada chips and they have become my new favorite...they have a light coating of grease as if they just came out of the fryer. Mmm...mmm!!

Plan to try the other recommendations, though. Normally, I wouldn’t bother but I suspect this is a pretty discriminating crowd when it comes to salsa.
