Same stand I got my 8 point from last month. To bad he didn't show up while MWW982 was hunting this stand this past Tuesday and Wednesday.

Anyone have experience with a low flying plane in the area. Was white or yellow. Thinking one of a few things, Timber Company, DEA, Game Wardens, or someone from the neighboring lease scouting from the air.

Yellow single engine. Buzzing the crap out of me on Wednesday morning flying 10-20 feet over the trees. Second time in 3 years I have had this guy buzzing the area over me.

Plane looks like a Meyers MAC 145.

After a late start, SOMEONE not wanting to get out of bed, and logging trucks up and down the road I was skunked in the stand I was in. Plus it got cold. Nathan had a few does all around him but none came within view.

Now it’s time to tackle lease chores, stand adjustments, and lunch. Better luck and more layers tonight.

This guy flew over my set probably 5 or 6 times flying insanely low just over the tree line. I was wondering the same thing. Sure looked like fun though... few times looked like he was gonna crash into the trees lol . Single engine white plane I believe . I don't know what they could be looking for I guess it could be DEA...

He flew over me so much 2 years ago and again on Wednesday I was able to shoot him the bird when I got back to the truck after the hunt. I got a really good look at the plane so I did a google search to find the model.

Thats really cool. Yea he kept flying over me too the 5 days I was up there hunting. I believe I am a good distance from you guys as well off highway 3 heading north. He must be covering pretty good distance . Wish I could get up there and hunt this weekend.
