Finished up my Ar pistols.

Been buying parts from the green screen and other places and finished both my pistols. Top is a 6.5 Grendel and bottom one is a 223, I installed CMC 2.5 triggers in both, lowers are Anderson, 223 upper is a BCA, 6.5 is a Anderson upper, braces are SB4 and 3. Vortex red dot and a vortex 2x7x32. Also did red accents on both lowers.

Excuse my ignorance on the subject, but what makes these pistols?? I’d assume with the butt it would be a rifle. I know zero about AR platforms

Based off the current ATF regulations a pistol is a barrel length under 16” or an overall length under 26”. But these are not stocks they are braces which are legal to go on a pistol. So the brace goes around your forearm.

The definition could be an SBR as well.

Also the ATF is in the middle of considering whether braced pistols are going to be classified as and SBR or an AOW.
