    Eats in Galveston

Rented a condo on the beach in Galveston the end of July. Where are some good seafood places? Not talking franchise crap but mom and pop joints. Let me know what say you.

    Gaido’s lump crab.

If you are there Sunday hit up the brunch at Hotel Galvez. Its fancy and bottomless mimosas.

Can’t go wrong at Rudy and paco. A little pricier but great food.

Plenty of good seafood, I have always like Gaido’s. Mosquito Cafe is a cool lunch spot if you get sick of eating seafood.

Black pearl is a great spot for oysters and a beer. Anything I’ve eaten there was great!

Shrimp n Stuff and Benno’s are two more mom and pop type options

Fisherman's Wharf overlooking the channel side is outstanding. Tilman's big yacht was parked right next to it when we went a few weeks ago.

Rudy and Pacos is great but more of an upscale place. They have a dress code.

Rudy and Pacos for a very nice dinner. Thats our spot for a nice dinner.

Breakfast,,,,, you have to go to the Sunflower bakery. Get your gut ready! It's all good there.

I never go to gtown for seafood myself. Can't help ya with that. But the other 2 spots I recommend are money!

A bunch of good ones have already been listed but here’s a few more:
                            BLVD Seafood
Cajun Greek - one of my favorites
                            Miller’s on the seawall
                            Willie G’s
                            Shrimp & Stuff

                              Miller's for breakfast
                              Gaido's for nice dinner

If you find the need for some TexMex, Salsa on the seawall is pretty good.
