    Fair Warning

    Dropped today, April 29, 1981
    4th album.
Van Halen II was probably their best, but Fair Warning is my go to.
    Ed was just crushing it.

Music is subjective, you like what you like.
But as a crap guitarist for longer than I care to admit, one thing I'm certain about.
No guitarist has frustrated other guitarists more than Ed.
He's been sick of late, battling cancer again.
    I hope he's doing better.

If you're a fan, maybe headphone up and run through this one again.

Thank you Clark. That sounds pretty good in my office this morning.

Eddie is definitely one of the greats! I bought an Eddie Van Halen endorsed Kramer in 1984 so I could play Eruption. Still have the guitar, still can't play eruption. Maybe in a few more decades I'll get it down.

                I'm a fan.

My three teenage girls get tired of me playing an album from start to finish on the road or at home.
I said back in my day the telltale sign of a killer band was an album/tape that you could listen from start to finish and be completely cool with it.

                VH has plenty of them.

I got to see them four times in concert. They were certainly the best Entertaining band I had seen. Eddie was pretty wild bouncing off the amplifiers! Lol. Great times...

Nice! Thanks, I love truly talented musicians and really hate we lost John Prine to Covid.

Here’s the greatest (not subjective!) bassist of all time.

                              My list of VH favorites;
                              Van Halen I
                              Van Halen II
                              Fair Warning
                              Women and Children First
                              Diver Down

Didn’t care for “1984” and absolutely HATED any and all without David Lee Roth on vocals. They lost it for me when they added keyboards!
