That red dirt is plentiful up here in the pines. I have spent quite a few dollars trying to cover it ups around my immediate yard. 🤓

I didnt notice any spillway or overflow. Is overflow water going around the dam near th road?

I was wondering about that too, it may be there but I can’t tell from the pics.

The spill way is on the opposite of the ****. We didn’t want the water exiting so close to the road so we have it on this side. As it overflows it will run through our property off to the side

They did a great job on it. I was impressed at watching them build it. There is definitely an art to it!

We got a little rain early in the week and it’s filling on up. Most of the land’s water shed naturally runs towards the pond so when it rains the culvert is flowing some water

Depends on the terrain you are wanting to build at. What size you want, as well as if you have to bring clay in, etc.....several things go into building a pond.

That’s not his first pond! Very nice.

It’s my father in law. He’s done quite a few in his time so he has a few under his belt.
