      Nice work and thanks for the tips. Been thinking of blowing apart a case pocket knife and adding some mammoth scales. Should be doable for the average do it yourselfer right?

                  Two more tusk pieces. I’m fond of the funky green and it’s more of a surface piece to contrast the crosscut white one.

                    that blue one is really beautiful.

                    Whenever I use mammoth tooth or mammoth ivory, I always glue a liner onto both sides of it. That's how I avoid blow out. Then, I can just grind the liner off the outside after I've attached it to the handle. It also helps to not use too much pressure. Just go slow and use a fresh bit, like you said.

                            Those look great but the one with bolsters is awesome. To each their own but something about bolsters just set a knife apart from one without.
