Default Epic Brown Bear Bowhunt Video

A friend of mine just returned from his Brown Bear hunt in Alaska. What a pressure packed situation he got himself into!

If you don't have it uploaded to a hosting site like YouTube or something else, it's not gonna happen for you here. You have to load it up to one of them and then link it here.

If I was the guy with the back up rifle I think I would have shot the bowhunter when that bear was running at him. I wouldn’t want him to suffer a bear attack.

The same thing happen to me on my 3rd trip to Saskatchewan. I wound up poking him in the nose with a arrow out of my quiver and he backed off. I do have video of it somewhere.

OP Thatís a beautiful bear and the archer calmly did what he needed to do, congrats!

Heh Lenny, long time no talk. Dyrk got really lucky. That whole thing could have gone sideways in a hurry. Don’t know how the guide Lance did not pull the trigger when that bear stopped & stared Dyrk down. They both have nerves of steel.

I cant believe he stood there as that bear came toward him. I wish I knew how close the bear actually passed. Feet for sure if it was 8 yds on the second shot.
