My buddy asked me to delivery him a feeder lid , says it’s 22inch across?
Any suggestions before I have to go to San Antonio searching?

Any feed stores near you? The ones around here normally have some feeder parts for sale. 22" sounds like a 55 gallon drum feeder.

          That’s a great idea
As everyone is out of stock or doesn’t carry parts locally

The ones I have are pretty heavy and in a good storm the might blow off but guarantee hail won't hurt them. I venture to say feeder companies use them and just re name them.

These are great for barrel feeders. We weigh ours down with a brick but not sure it's necessary. Just watch for wasps between the edge of the feeder and the lid.

I just went online to lowes and HD and didn't see the ones I have. Mine look just like the pic. I think I paid $19 each.

I drilled and tapped mine for three thumbscrews.

We added the spring and hook sets to them. 100% failproof and no chances of a rock coming crashing down on your or your buddy's head. (yes we had to take one of our members to the ER because he tried to move his legs after it had settled and forgot about the rock on top) Cheap insurance. once self tapper each and you are set.

I have a 33 that has a dog chain on one side and an extension spring on the other. Bought the thing probably 20 years ago at the Hunters' Extravaganza ar the Freeman Colosseum.
Still original hardware. I wish I knew the manufacturer all these years later. It's stamped out of sheet metal, I'm sure, with a rolled edge.
Ultimately, no help for the OP, though.

Ultra magic Feeders on here (sponsor) should have them and will deliver to your door or use to at least.

I stand corrected I didn’t see them in stock.

These are the ones I use. Found this one at the local feed store. I was always ordering from Amazon before.
