Usually every 3-4 days until it gets really warm.

Thanks. I’m putting mine up tomorrow after the storms move through in the morning.

Please Note: If you have decided to hang feeders, feeding hummingbirds is a commitment and there are 2 VERY IMPORTANT RULES you must follow:

Changing Nectar: You must be vigilant about changing the nectar regularly (every 3 to 5 days) to keep it from spoiling.

Cleaning Feeders: You must keep your feeders clean from bacteria which can be harmful to hummingbirds.

Recommend 1 part sugar to 4 parts water, no coloring needed.

Wife put a feeder out last Saturday & within 15 minutes there was one on it. Put 2 more out Sunday & now there are at least a dozen hummingbirds hitting them! We are in Beeville.

Put my feeders out yesterday and noticed the first hummer just now! I’m near Brock in Parker county.

Got home from Bownanza. Had two hummers fighting over the feeders! Glad to see ‘em.

I had rufous hummingbirds all winter but I think the last one left with the arrival of this a few days ago. Not here fully yet and I believe many are migrating through.

We had one show up where we had our feeder last year 2 days ago. Put them up yesterday and saw a hummingbird there 5-6 times during the day.

They are emptying two feeders a day on my front porch, the quart size bottles.
