Great idea. I'm going to end up doing mine in reverse. I've permanently mounted the casters but I bought four cheap Harbor Freight 8" c-clamps that I'm going to cut up and weld on so that the screw part acts as my lift/lower table legs.

I’ve seen those where you just weld the nut on top and use impact to raise/lower

Like this idea. I've seen this done with trailer tongue jacks.

The table looks amazing! What is it made of?

Here's mine. 40 gallon poly trashcan with a 2 foot X 2 foot piece of 3/4" plywood for a top. Taller in the front than in the back. Top sits at a slant and has wheels..Click image for larger version

              Mine

As you can see my table is large so I have plenty of room even with the vises mounted on it.

I also made a cart that can double as a welding table. I built it specifically to rebuild my dads old pipeliner.

What is the gutter for on the side of the table?

                      Here is mine . . .

                      :-)

I don’t mean the table base either—rather the trailer.

That would be for your chalk, or any other tools needed.

That's a nice big one~! My kinda table. I like "the casters" the best.

                          Nice tables all!

I really need to build one soon. Or find one for a smokin deal
