Want to take my daughter who turns 10 in a week somewhere fun within a 3-4 hour drive of houston. Not hunting related. She already gets to do that, any other ideas.

I would head north and stay in East Tx. She like to fish? Get a crappie guide for a day, find a Top Golf and go at night. What are her interest?

I kind of agree with this. Austin is full of stuff that little girls love, mine is one of them. South Congress is cool and all the shopping. Buda has Cabelas and San Marcos has the Outlets. Lots for a family to do in and around Austin.

Dinosaur valley state park, my kiddos are 5&9 and both loved the heck out of it.

Head to Port A & take her offshore or inshore fishing. Tour the Lexington.

My daughter loves the aquarium in Corpus. We've been twice. Really nice place to spend the day. First trip I was not really looking forward to it, I had a blast. We will definitely go again.
