I honestly don’t have a good explanation. I usually process my own deer but due to time constraints I field dressed this one and dropped him off at the processor so I won’t get to dissect the wound and see exactly where the broadhead impacted. All that said, I got a new bow this year and was using some old school Hog Head mechanicals that were suggested to me. I’ve sworn off mechanicals for now until I can get my girly arms built up to a heavier draw weight. The second shot was with muzzy 4 blades and it went through him like he was butter. I didn’t think he was quartered at all but maybe he was.
