Slow here, conditions are pretty nice. Tried setting up different and think I whiffed.

Have seen about a dozen, only one into decoys. Spooky today. Oh well. Kids having fun at least!

Decent morning here. Still need a bunch of rain!

I’ve decided that every kid from Texas, SC, GA, & AL drive a brand new F250, wear flat bills and stay decked out in Sitka. It’s that time of year in the gas stations up here LOL

When the dog gets bored, it's officially a slow day. Reminds me of fishing with my kids. They'd spend more time playing with the minners than actually fishing.

            1 spoonie

Maybe 10-15 birds came close enough to start reaching for the gun and then saw, maybe, another 20-30 way in the distance

Scratched out limits of greenwings today on the coast. Not much shooting anywhere.

Can anyone remember a slower first split?

Totally it’s called the day you expect the birds to come to you instead of going to the birds

Grind of a morning for us, hunted a new pond that just flooded last week after the last cut. Walking in on that was fun….

We had birds everywhere but they were really shy, not commits at all but we managed. Picked up some geese as well which was a first for me. Mixed random strap pick just because I’ve never shot a goose. Breakfast was better than the hunt!

Quick morning limit. Got out late and had birds flying all over my by the time I got into the water.

Was done in 15 minutes. 4 blue wing, a widgeon, and a pintail. Hopefully it’s as easy tomorrow morning.
