                  Probably just a little throwback from his youth. They shot it Saturday.

                  They’re tanning whole hide. Euroing the skull.

                  That was the first picture or sighting of it earlier in the week

                  Located in the Gonzales county area. TPWD took a sample of the deer to have their biologists analyze it. They said it was a whitetail that never lost its spots. They told him that he had a better chance of seeing albino whitetails than ones that never lose their spots.

                            Not any kind of cross with an Axis.

                            It’s very rare to see a whitetail keep his spot all over like that. I’ve seen one that was a two year old with spots still on his hind quarters.

                              I killed a doe a couple years ago that had fawn spots like that. Not as pronounced, but a solid two rows down the spine that were obvious, up close.

                                I have seen it a couple times not as predominant as those spots though it should makes it easy to track that buck
