I was there the weekend before last, and we caught a couple on a few different baits. Red trap, chatter bait, and a square bill. There is no grass south of 6 mile so its a little different game down there right now. We just covered water as fast as we could. I hear housen and indian mounds is pretty good though at the moment.

We had a great weekend. We had two tournaments due to a reschedule. Saturday we took 4th. Sunday we had a nice bag, but there were some huge fish weighed in. I reckon Sunday was lot of bed fishing. We stuck to our Saturday pattern, but reckon we should have pivoted. Beautiful weekend and great fishing.

If it was a tournament for numbers I think we'd give each other a run for the money!

Pick up anymore big "pairs" yesterday?

Fished the KCKL on Cedar Creek this weekend and it was a circle jerk, as always there were a few lunkers caught but for most park dock talk was that lake is not fishing good right now.

Chase and his fishing partner finished 40th out of 227 and qualified for the state championship. It was a grind on Lake Travis, but the boys did really well! Now itís off to practice and learn Lake Belton.

There's some good ones biting on belton right now. I honestly hate that lake but they've been catching some good ones. Buddies caught a 7.5 and a 5 fishing bass Champs this weekend and took 3rd. Think there was a 9 weighed in as well. Some good smallies biting right now.

Been some serious pressure with all the tournaments going on, TTZ last weekend and bass champs this weekend. Caught a 7.4 in front of some anglers last weekend fishing TTZ and they swarmed in on me lol moved to another spot and it was thick as molasses with all the boats.

We finished 4th twice this year. A grand total of $400. LoL. Definitely not for the money. I think state win gets a few thousand.

Congrats to y'all, Brandon! Tough conditions with that WIND! Sorry we couldn't hang out at the weigh-in and chat for a bit, but it was all I could do to keep our boat from hitting rocks or other boats. I can see power poles in our near future...

Johnny must have caught over 40 fish (by himself) but only had three keepers. Losing a 2.5 and a 4+ that last hour killed his chances of going to state. Missed the cut by 2 lbs! Does anyone on here know of a kid that wants/needs a good partner for next year?? We are looking!

Mason and his fishing partner just made state as the last last team to qualify.
Their team,Comal County did wind up winning the Hill Country Division for the year though.

Went out last weekend and battled the wind. Ended up hooking into a monster bass. Brought it up to that boat, kneeled down to lip it and somehow got slack in the line, and it spit the hook at the boat.
