Took my daughter to Urban Air trampoline park today and realized I’m not as young as I thought I was lol

Closed fracture of the distal end left fibula. Maybe a few other breaks that were hidden by swelling. Good news is the doc didn’t think surgery would be needed. We’ll see what the ortho says later this week.

Wouldn't wish a foot or ankle injury on my worst enemy after I dealt with one.

Don't skimp on the PT. I figured just getting back to walking would work everything that needed working and I was still feeling it at times 18 months later.

Those trampoline places have a long history of teaching old dudes that they're old. Happened to my son a couple years ago, messed his back up and sprained both ankles.

Got dang that doesn’t sound like fun! Good luck with the healing process! I remember my last front flip on one of those trampolines. That landing just hits different, lol.

Falling off a hoverboard once was enough for me to give that nonsense stuff up. Something about your feet flying over your head and the pain that ensues brought me back to reality.

Last time I went, bout 15 years ago, they had to bring me down the mountain on a snow mobile. Nothing broke but twisted my knee pretty bad and couldn't stand on it. Ain't been back since ....Careful up there Dale

My brother is 61 and just had shoulder surgery from riding a dirt bike. Needless to say he finally gave up the bike. Still has his street bike tho

I dont need a trampoline park to let me know I'm not as young as I once was. The fact that I have to be cautious with farts and that I am now grunting while standing at a urinal has been a rude awakening for me!

Last time I went skiing, I was doing fine until my face hit the hill. It looked like a yard sale in the 30 feet up the hill behind me...hat, a glove, sunglasses, one ski, all scattered on the hill. Surprised I still had pants on after that spill.

Came out of a building one time and found a guy face down in the street on one of those. He het a pebble with a front wheel and kissed the pavement. Knocked himself out!

Haha I’m just glad I packed everything prior to doing this!

Spoke with an orthopedic friend last night. Go see him today and get a game plan. Hoping no surgery.

Lol they told to get one but I said no thanks. I’ve already got 2 fake teeth and metal posts holding them in from a misfortune on a hopped up scooter going about 25 mph. I opted for the iWalk 2.0 or as I call it, my new pirate peg leg.

Good news is no surgery in my future. Bad news is ortho buddy confirmed fracture and said I also tore some ligaments. Gotta take it easy and as pain allows slowly walk on it. Follow up in a month and see where we go from there.
