Prayers you stay healthy. It's gonna be tough. Too bad you can't send him or yourself off to deer camp for 2 weeks.

Well my wife had it so I had to quarantine with her for 14 days and I never showed symptoms. Also I might add that we are trying to have a baby so we werent in separate rooms..........I did not get tested because as soon as we found out she tested positive I went home and quarantined. Prayers up for you!!!

My symptoms weren’t bad at all, one day I felt like death warmed over but after that I started getting better. At the end of my quarantine sentence now and the worst thing is the lack of taste and smell. My wife has it now but hardly worse than a cold. Maybe you’ll be lucky.

I just had it. My wife is a nurse and caught it at work. We came down with it the same day. Wasn't a big deal, minor flu like symptoms without fever or cough. Head congestion, some fatigue and beat up feelings, nothing that a couple ibuprofen couldn't knock out. Lost my taste and smell day three. Feeling much better ten plus days after. Don't treat it lightly, lots of rest, start taking vitamin D, a baby asprin a day, zink, and vitamin C. Apparently blood clots are a real threat for some people.

Tested positive on December 14th. Had chills for two days, a little tired and nothing since. High BP, pre-diabetes and old and fat. Lost 12-pounds but last four days felt like I’ve put it back in. Wife had a cough since but hasn’t tested or felt bad.
Prayers. From my Make Believe World Last edited by DFWPI; 12-29-2020 at 11:21 PM. |

Day 1: take 30,000 mg liposomal Vitamin C. You can find it in liquid form in health food store. Be careful, it may give you diarrhea.
Each day: 5000 mg Vitamin C 50 mg Zinc 5000 iu D3 |

If you can get your hands on hydroxychloriquine, take 2 per day as soon as you can. Otherwise, it probably wont help.

Darn it! If it is a mild case, it will be a good thing that he got it and builds his immunity. Will send up a prayer that it is mild and he recovers quickly...and that you and your wife don't get it.

Wife and I tested positive Monday. Started feeling bad on Sunday with a little cough. Lost sense of smell on Monday and got tested. So far, it’s been ok with no fever or other the signs of a severe case for either of us. We are both over 60, but in decent shape for our ages. Prayers for everyone who has or will get this virus.

My wife came down with it Christmas Eve. The Doctor she works for and his nurse tested positive.
She felt bad a day or two, seems to be getting better. All I had is a little sniffle and a mild cough. I'm 66 with the beginnings of Type 2. Been taking Quinine, Vit C, D3, and zinc. so far so good. And she always gave ME Hades about ME contracting it and giving it to her and her work cohorts! Now it's no big deal. |

My wife tested positive on xmas eve, had minor symptoms for 3-4 days, now feels fine. I tested after xmas and did not have it. she stayed on one side of house, me on other. i took her food and stuff she needed for several days. she seems fine now. Her 10 days is over monday, and we are both going to be tested. So if you are careful, it seems like you can live in same house and not get it

Everyone should be taking vitamin D, vitamin c, and zinc every day right now. There’s been quite a few studies showing that people with high levels of these have MUCH milder symptoms than those without.

I just got out of quarantine after being diagnosed on 12/19. Drink tons of fluid! Also vitamin d is super important.
I had a relatively mild case, but here’s what I took daily. 1000 mg Vitamin C 50 mg Zinc 5000 units Vitamin D3 Low dose aspirin (helps with blood clots) Also, lots of water and Gatorade. I’ll be praying for healing. God is bigger than any virus! Message me if you need any more info or are curious about how it affected me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That's good to hear Walker, that you are clear.
My Son-n-L tested positive on Jan 7th. They were exposed Dec 31 and didn't know it at the time. I was having Christmas with the grandboys Jan 1st cause I self quarantined for 10 days starting on my Christmas Vacation so I wouldn't expose anyone else should I have contracted it prior to. And wouldn't ya know it, after I self quarantine for ten days, they were told the day after I was over there that they were exposed Dec 31st. Dang kids! So I got a free case of quarantine for a few days, for a belated Christmas gift. ![]() Had I known they had a NYE "celebration", I wouldn't have gone over there. But I never had any symptoms. My youngest grandboy tested positive later that week too. But both he and my Son-n-l never had any symptoms. They are both fine now. Daughter had just gotten her second dose. She's an BS-RN. With that being said, I got notice this evening that my first dose of vaccine is tomorrow morning. Last edited by Texas Grown; 01-20-2021 at 10:04 PM. |

Glad your son and family are doing well. My oldest son tested positive on 1/12. All the rest of the house had to quarantine, but none of us have had any symptoms. He had a bit of fever, sore throat, and muscle pain. He seems to be fine now, thankfully.

My 13 year tested positive Friday for covid and Flu-B. He had the sniffles and a headache.....sniffles and headache gone, now he has a sore throat and has had no fever. My 10 year old and my wife tested negative today. I refuse to test, but am self quarantining until the 26th.

It’s scary. Most of my neighbors have had it, all 4 next door have it currently. I only know 1 person that died from it. I’m guessing eventually we’ll all get it and hope we live through it. Again, it’s scary.
