Just me today. Oldest isn't feeling good, little didnt wanna go so i am just sitting here enjoying the piece and quite. Going to get some reading in for Sunday school tomorrow. Dont really expect to see anything before 4:30ish but ya never know. Will update later. Brought the rattling horns just in case i get sleepy and need something to keep me awake.

My view from the Hill Country

Birds are chirping, woods are coming to life....its a great day already. Sitting til no later than 9 then gotta get to sunday school. Will probably head out around 8:45. Little man is gonna make his first hunt this afternoon.

Lot of shooting to the west of me....they either suck, got in on some hogs, or duck hunting but i bet there was 10 shots.

We had duck hunters surrounding us yesterday morning. Not so much today. I shot a doe earlier. Back in the stand for a while. Hoping my wife sees something too!

One more try. Gus decided not to come......kinda disappointed but not gonna force him. Different spot this evening. Sitting in same bottom just opposite sides. Snuck in without having to drive in. Creek on west side, partially mowed bottom out front, fenceline on east side with thick woods north of fence row(yes fence is ours). Will update later. Can shoot either lane.
