Always thought a 30-30 was a perfect kids gun.
Both my kids got there first deer with a 30-30.
My nephew is trying for his first deer with the same 30-30 this season and my niece just killed her first couple weeks ago.


Very nice deer and he looks over the moon happy.

Nice buck! Wichita Falls area is getting to be the same way with processors Whitaker's put a limit on how many they are taking and are about to shut down for the season. A new one opened up called Hooves and Horns and they hit capacity in like 2 weeks. Now I'm gonna have to drive a little ways myself if I shoot another.
