Cold weather sayings

My dad was driving this morning and said it was "slicker than greasy goose turds". My mom replied "that's because it's colder than a booger bear!"

I don't know enough about goose turds or booger bears to dispute either allegation. I was wondering if any of you have heard any funny sayings about the cold or slick weather and what's your favorite one?
